Mizuno MP 62 Irons Give Enthusiasts Consistent Feel

Thanks for taking the time to read my Mizuno MP 62 Irons Give Enthusiasts Consistent Feel. Mizuno reputation for producing equipment for the avid golfer is well-deserved, and their better-player irons are certainly impressive. Today, we review the Mizuno MP 62 Irons.

The Mizuno MP-62 irons are another very good set of irons from Mizuno and if you are looking for a new set of irons thn we would recommend trying them out. These irons feature new u-grooves meant for even more control, along with a great players club feel in the blade style head. They also incorporate the slight cavity, giving a bit more forgiveness than a standard blade.

We really liked the styling of the cut muscle clubs and in the MP-52s the style seems a little bland by comparison. However they do perform well and those who need a little more forgiveness than blades could do worse than check these out.

MP-62 iron has simple looks but packs in a lot of the technology driven from the personal grinds of Mizuno Tour players, such as Luke Donald and Jonathan Byrd. The MP-62 iron features minimal offset and a versatile soleplate together with an aggressively beveled trailing edge, to promote crisp ball striking. The classic head profile with a thin top line, minimal offset and tour inspired sole design, combined with grain flow forged feel, make the MP 62 irons the perfect weapons to deliver consistent ball flight and unsurpassed shot making accuracy. The external and internal muscle bar (Dual Muscle), developed following extensive research into vibration and frequency analysis, places mass behind the impact area for increased feel and has allowed enough weight to be shifted to ensure that the centrally located Centre of Gravity and consistent sweet spot height dictates a neutral left / right bias. The Grain Flow Forged used by the Mizuno MP-62 Iron is supposed to produce solid feel and great distance control. It also features Forged U Grooves to optimize spin and control.

The Mizuno MP-62 Iron Set is a Tour Ready design based on the most requested adjustments and prototypes from Mizuno’s Tour Workshops. It has simple looks but packs in a lot of the technology driven from the personal grinds of Mizuno Tour players, such as Luke Donald and Jonathan Byrd.

The Mizuno MP-62 Iron Set features minimal offset and a versatile soleplate together with an aggressively bevelled trailing edge, to promote crisp ball striking.

The New MP-62 irons with breakthrough DUAL MUSCLE technology were designed for the player who covets workability and shot making control with forgiveness. The DUAL MUSCLE technology perfectly blends two muscle pads: an outer muscle pad allows for a precisely placed CG, providing an enhanced sweet area for maximum playability, while the inner pad delivers more mass behind the impact area for solid feel and the feedback better players demand. The Grain-Flow forged heads ring like a bell when you flush one out of the middle. The feel is amazingly solid and harks back far more to the MP-33 than the MP-32 or MP-60 that this iron replaces in the Mizuno line-up. Combined with that trademark buttery soft feel that all Mizuno’s have and you have 8 pieces of heaven.

Mizuno MP-62 Irons Features:

Durable double nickel chrome plated finish.
Modified U-grooves produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.
Dual Muscle Player's Cavity for a perfect blend of feel, workability and forgiveness .
Utilizing State of the Art CAD design and Frequency Analysis Software, the COG is precisely located behind the impact zone for maximum feel and workability.
Exclusive Grain Flow Forged™, 1025E "Pure Select" mild carbon steel provides the ultimate soft, solid, and consistent feel.
Rolled leading edge, aggressively cambered mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge deliver tour level workability and ball control.

Titleist 2010 AP1 Irons- Advanced Performance With Feel

If you're a Titleist fan - or think you could be one! It would be nice. With so many new products released one by one and made by different Golf Company. People focus on the newest clubs as usually. I remember clearly when the Titleist create the 712 AP1 Irons, the predecessor 2010 AP1 was not popular as before during for a long time. Because of the superior quality, good feels and great looks, it strikes our eyes again.

Titleist says its AP1 irons are 'advanced performance, multi-material, dual cavity irons providing improved feel, great looks, shot control and higher flight with forgiveness for the avid to skilled golfer.' Titleist AP1 irons offer a contemporary, confidence-inspiring appearance in the set up position with a traditional profile shape, soft blends, modern proportions and semi-under slung hosel. In a nutshell, even golfers with normally low self-esteem can suddenly use these clubs.

Design and Technology
Developing an iron that maintains the coveted "Titleist feel" yet is forgiving enough for us double-digit handicap golfers is a tall order. The dual cavity and multi-material design are a radical departure from anything Titleist has made in the past and have been designed with one key bit of player feedback at the forefront: feel. That Titleist claims to have done so is nothing short of remarkable.
AP1 irons

The AP1 irons are a radical and bold departure from any iron set that Titleist has come out with in the past. Just looking at a picture of them, you would have to second guess as to what exactly they were thinking as the looked quite "game improvement - no feedback".It covers the lower cavity and is designed to keep weight lower while giving players both good feel and added forgiveness. The attractive metallic back cavity plate with multiple elevation graphics, textures and color contributes to the AP1's great looks and bag appeal. This lower center of gravity gives players a higher launch angle with more ball speed and what Titleist calls "consistent spin performance across the hitting area." The upper cavity sits above the elastomer cushion and is adorned with a metallic cavity plate. Weight is pushed to the perimeter to give you increased forgiveness.

Titleist 2010 AP1 Irons Main Features:
>Higher Ball Speed Thin face, dual cavity design pushes weight to the perimeter for a hotter face and flight.
>Solid Feel High density tungsten nickel sole bar reduces low frequency vibration for solid feel.
>Improved, hotter feel the integrated aluminum and soft elastomer Tuned Feel System in the back cavity improves sound and feel at impact for a hotter.
>Improved Short Irons Shorter blade length, thinner topline and reduced visual offset deliver control and performance.
>More forgiving Perimeter weighted back flange and tungsten nickel sole bar locates the CG low and deep for increased MOI, forgiveness and stability.

Improved Feel, More Forgiveness
Building upon the high technology design and resounding success of the Titleist 2010 710 AP1 irons, Titleist introduces the new high performance AP1 irons for avid golfers. The Titleist AP1 are multi-material, dual cavity irons that take the design mission of "Advanced Performance You Can Feel" to new heights. The concept for the original Advanced Performance irons arose as a result of research that indicated serious golfers want performance with great feel, not performance at the expense of feel. The Titleist R&D team’s advanced research group has been conducting extensive sound and vibration analysis aimed at reducing the harsh lower frequency vibration that causes poor feel in irons.

Until now, Titleist 2010 AP1 Irons also name 710 AP1 Irons still on the hot list. They follow on from the success of the original Titleist AP1 Irons that were introduced back in 2008. AP stands for Advanced Performance and the new AP1 is a revamped version of the previous model which has been so popular over the past couple of years.
